"Full Mailbox Access" permission
Hi All, Let's say I have UserA and UserB in my domain. I want to give UserB permission to access UserA's mailbox, i.e. Full Mailbox Access. I go into ADUC (we are running Exchange 2003/AD 2003) > UserA properties > Exchange Advanced > Mailbox Rights > Add I then select UserB. The question is - am I adding UserB's AD account, or UserB's mailbox there? What level am I working on?

The AD Account and the Mailbox should be the same thing if I am understanding your question right... it is not really differentiated at that level.

Hi, In simple words, You are giving Full Access permission to UserB on UserA's mailbox. After that UserB has full access over UserA's mailbox, but not the vice versa. UserB, offourse also a mailbox, can now open UserA's mailbox in outlook/OWA. Regards, Laeeq Qazi|Team Lead(Exchange + Sharepoint + BES + DynamicsCRM) www.HostingController.com

Hi, Agree with Laeeq. You are adding the full access privilege for User's AD account. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks
